MPS-1600
Indoor/Outdoor Distribution Cable
The MPS-1600 Indoor/Outdoor Distribution Cable is a connectorized assembly much like our Interfacility Distribution Cable and Optical Drop Cable. This cable can be run outdoors as well as indoors. Since the cable does not contain the petroleum-based gel used in most outdoor cables as a water block, the cable can be run indoors at any distance. This singlemode, multimode or hybrid cable assembly is available with a variety connector styles and 6, 12 or 24 fibers in riser or plenum-rated cable. In addition, it may be ordered with an optional outdoor node fitting. It may be ordered with a pulling eye / protective sleeve that makes installing easier and provides physical protection of the connectors during installation. The cable can be terminated with connectors at one or both ends in conjunction with various styles of fan-out kits at any breakout length. As with every MPS assembly, each connector is tested. The cable is serialized and ships with a test record sheet specific to that cable.
